FREE WEIGHT AND FIXED WEIGHT
RESISTANCE TRAINING AREA

If your goal is to build muscle, our large range of free weight equipment will help you increase muscle mass in a safe and efficient way. From dumbbells up to 50kg (in most gyms), weights benches and squat racks, to plate-loaded equipment (in most gyms) your fitness will go from strength to strength.

Fixed-weight machines are a great place to start weight training before you’ve developed the skills required for training with free weights.

For an upper body work-out, try the chest press, shoulder press, GHD
and lateral pull down machines. Or train your entire body with leg presses, cables, multi-gym stations, hip abductors and much, much more.

IF YOUR GOAL IS TO IMPROVE YOUR GENERAL FITNESS, WHICH WILL MAKE EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES EASIER AND IMPROVE YOUR OVERALL HEALTH, YOU’RE SPOILT FOR CHOICE AT FHF.
Our range of cardio equipment, including treadmills, cross trainers, stair climbers, steppers, exercise bikes and rowing machines, will improve your endurance and stamina.

FHF MEMBERS HAVE ACCESS TO OVER 100 GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES EACH WEEK. FROM BEGINNERS TO EXPERTS, THERE’S SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE NO MATTER WHAT YOUR FITNESS GOALS MAY BE.
Our wide range of classes can help you tone muscle and burn fat at your own pace. Plus, there’s the added motivation of working out in a group environment with like-minded people.

AT FIREHOUSE
Discover new ways to workout in our functional training areas – the perfect place to push yourself at your own pace. You’ll have the freedom to perform both body-weight activities and develop real-world functional strength using kettlebells, medicine balls and, in some gyms, battle ropes and TRX.
CHANGING ROOMS
AND SHOWERS

All FHF clubs have changing facilities with individual showers and locker facilities. There are hairdryers in all clubs and spare plug sockets for your own appliances. Just remember to bring a towel, your toiletries and a padlock with you if you wish to use our facilities when you visit our gyms. Padlocks can be purchase at reception in all clubs.

All of our clubs have a dedicated REFUEL shake bar with drinks and protein snacks in case you get hungry or thirsty pre or post workout. Along with a full range of performance TriDri workout apparel.

Work your entire body with our signature session FEEL THE BURN. This HIIT style session will work your whole body, so there’s not an inch of you that doesn’t feel the burn. You will use functional movements using a variety of equipment to burn the maximum calories during the session.

Really push and improve your Cardio in our ACCELERANT session. These sessions are circuit based using a variety of CV machines and functional movements to really ramp up your fat burning potential.

Improve your strength and learn how to lift correctly in our ‘Firecrew’ session. You will be taken through 2-3 compound lifts, taught what muscles you are using in those lifts and look to increase your strength in these lifts. This will be followed by a circuit that includes the lifts you have learnt and maybe a few other exercises to really get you burning maximum calories.

Give your fat a punch in our FIREFIGHT sessions. In these sessions you will improve your fitness, burn fat and de-stress by doing rounds of boxing on our bags, pads and using a range of equipment to improve your conditioning.

Party beats and pumping legs in our Spin session. Let us help improve your fitness, strength and endurance all to the latest beats (and some not so latest beats). Our Firehouse spin sessions are guaranteed to get you sweating, working hard and having fun while doing it.
