UTILITY SHED
We have a range of cardio equipment to suit your training needs. If you want to work on improving your speed, we have Curved Treadmills that allow you to go from a standing start to a max effort sprint as fast as you can accelerate.
Or would you prefer some steady cardio, then hop onto one of the Treadmills, Stationary bikes or Crosstrainers.
Maybe you have always wanted to see what it is like to walk the steps of the Empire state building? Or are you wanting to work those glutes more while doing cardio, we have Steppers that are perfect for both.
Why not try adding in Rowers or Air bikes into your workouts and add a new level of challenging cardio into your session.
Drill yard
The Drill Yard is where our Firehouse sessions are delivered (apart from Firehouse Spin). The Drill Yard offers a large grassed area perfect for functional training which our sessions take full advantage of.
Our sessions are suitable for all fitness levels and are designed with exercise progressions and regressions in mind. We focus on teaching correct technique, motivations, having fun (while still working hard) and how you can get the best out of your time at the gym.
Between sessions all members are welcome to use the great space and equipment located in the drill Yard. We have Rigs, Barbells, Kettlebells, TRX, Vipers bars, Dumbbells, Boxing bags, Sleds, Air Bikes, Rowers, SkiErgs, Curved treadmills, Agility equipment and the list goes on.

Discover new ways to workout in our functional training areas – the perfect place to push yourself at your own pace. You’ll have the freedom to perform both body-weight activities and develop real-world functional strength using kettlebells, medicine balls and, in some gyms, battle ropes and TRX.

All FHF clubs have changing facilities with individual showers and locker facilities. There are hairdryers in all clubs and spare plug sockets for your own appliances. Just remember to bring a towel, your toiletries and a padlock with you if you wish to use our facilities when you visit our gyms. Padlocks can be purchase at reception in all clubs.
All of our clubs have a dedicated REFUEL shake bar with drinks and protein snacks in case you get hungry or thirsty pre or post workout. Along with a full range of performance TriDri workout apparel.
Work your entire body with our signature session FEEL THE BURN. This HIIT style session will work your whole body, so there’s not an inch of you that doesn’t feel the burn. You will use functional movements using a variety of equipment to burn the maximum calories during the session.
Really push and improve your Cardio in our ACCELERANT session. These sessions are circuit based using a variety of CV machines and functional movements to really ramp up your fat burning potential.
Improve your strength and learn how to lift correctly in our ‘Firecrew’ session. You will be taken through 2-3 compound lifts, taught what muscles you are using in those lifts and look to increase your strength in these lifts. This will be followed by a circuit that includes the lifts you have learnt and maybe a few other exercises to really get you burning maximum calories.
Give your fat a punch in our FIREFIGHT sessions. In these
sessions you will improve your fitness, burn fat and de-stress
by doing rounds of boxing on our bags, pads and using a
range of equipment to improve your conditioning.
Party beats and pumping legs in our Spin session. Let us help improve your fitness, strength and endurance all to the latest beats (and some not so latest beats). Our Firehouse spin sessions are guaranteed to get you sweating, working hard and having fun while doing it.
